BitMart Token

BMX is the exchange token of BitMart, a centralised exchange founded in 2017 that grew into a significant listing venue for assets sitting well below the thresholds of the largest platforms. The company said it supported more than 1,900 spot assets by the middle of 2026.
Unlike the memecoins covered elsewhere in the circus, this is a platform token: its value is tied to the exchange that issues it rather than to a character or a community. That link is the reason it appears here at all. BitMart announced an orderly wind-down of its exchange on 26 July 2026, with trading scheduled to end on 26 August and formal cessation of platform operations on 31 January 2027.
The closure has been accompanied by reports of blocked withdrawals, an executive rupture, and an open demand published through the exchange's own Chinese-language account for disclosure of its wallets, liabilities and usable reserves. Founder Sheldon Xia denies taking user assets and says that account was compromised.
Nothing has established the exchange's total assets or liabilities, and no complete public reconciliation existed as of 18 August 2026. No contract address has been verified for this page yet.
