Niu Lai (牛来)

牛来 is the title of a Chinese animated film released on 5 August 2026, and the name taken by at least three separate tokens after the film became an internet joke. The film sold 342 yuan of tickets on its opening day and 7,169 yuan across nine days, then reversed into a national talking point when viewers began attending precisely because almost nobody had.

The BNB Chain token, created on Flap on 13 August 2026, is the largest of the same-name tokens and the one listed by LBank, which renamed the ticker to NIULAI because its platform cannot display Chinese characters. The native onchain symbol is still 牛来, which reads roughly as “the bull is coming”: a market pun the film itself has nothing to do with.
